Sebastian Avery Morris

I am a senior in the Religion Department at Temple University, and the sacristan at St Clement's Episcopal Church, an historic Anglo-Catholic parish in Philadelphia.
I am a Christian Socialist and Monarchist, with strong Distributist and Neo-Luddite tendencies. I live in South Philadelphia with my fiancé (wedding in November) Xopher, who is a graphic artist, and our cat Astro. I'm always happy to discuss religion, progressive politics, or LGBTQ issues.

It’s wonderful that Anna’s mother made the decision to carry Anna to term. I would try to help any woman I knew reach the same decision. But ultimately it was a decision that only the pregnant woman could make, a choice based on her circumstances and personal belief system. Not every woman would make the same choice, nor necessarily should she. The point is that it is a difficult, even torturous choice that only she is positioned to make. We must legally guarantee her right to make whatever choice is right for her, without added shame, guilt, harassment or repercussions.
